Lady Bea
Lady Bea

As I cruised along in a sleek dark blue Mondeo hatchback, a dear friend named Sverker Dahl introduced us to the world of Jaguar and Joe's Garage in southern Sweden.

A series of sporadic summer visits in 2009 ignited an unexpected love affair with a stunning sapphire blue hatchback. It seamlessly blended modern design with classic lines, boasting a very distinctive "Jaguar" front end while resting on a reliable chassis (a clever fusion of a Ford framework, effectively marrying a Mondeo base with the allure of an entry-level Jaguar).

On the memorable 18th of September 2009, we welcomed Lady Bea into our lives, and she has since been a cherished part of our journey for over a decade.

Rush
Rush
We bought Rush in a bit of a rush... Had our eyes on a Sportbrake for a while (we love fast hatchbacks) and were actually waiting for a Dark Sapphire Metallic car, but those are rare. I lost my patience and decided to go for this as a second option. I always felt the car was a bit matte, but after a thorough clean and rubbing at a Ditech shop it finally got some shine. Since then I am convinced there is no limit to the amount of glitter and sparkle you can get from a car, even a new one. Only a matter of cost.
